Indie games are over half my played games atm, they are carrying the industry in many ways.

Please keep covering Flint and Swordhaven! After a huge fall 2023 it really does feel like we're in a bit of a crpg lull right now. This would be the perfect time for an indie team to surprise us with something cool. I keep thinking about teams like Tactical Adventures and what a bolt from the blue they had with Solasta. Looking forward to it happening again.

I hope Mechanicus 2 hires the same music composer. IMHO no other music so perfectly captured the 40K Adeptus Mechanicus "feel".

I played the Sumerian Six demo and it plays exactly like a Mimimi game. That's a good thing if you were a fan of those games. Although the demo does have some minor bugs in it. But the devs made it super easy to report bugs from within the demo. So it's a good opportunity to help them out.

Wait... The Alters.. the concept of you handling your own clones reminds me of the book series Bobiverse by Dennis E. Taylor, although that series takes the clone concept a bit further. I haven't read book 4 yet, but for the first three - highly recommend if you are into book reading.
And thank you for bringing the indie titles into the spotlight a bit!

I continue to like these little overviews of upcoming things...whether I missed or not, good for keeping an eye out for stuff that might be interesting to me.
And of course, keeping an eye out here on Mort's channel for those that do seem intriguing.
Current problem is that my backlog is too long. I may need to stop working, it's getting in the way.

Just wanted to say thanks for covering stealth tactics games. I grew up on Commandos and loved it but thought it was the only of it's kind. Your review of Shadow Gambit introduced me to Mimimi and I've been loving those. I also had no idea about Sumerian Six so I'm excited for that now.

Flint looks really promising. Interested in Sumerian Six, Mort exposed to both Showgunners and Shadow Gambit and they turned into some of my all time favorite games. Can't wait to see more from this one, maybe check out the demo.

Swordhaven looks super good! Sumerian Six have very nice demo - humor is bit cringy but setting and powers are fun.
