گوگوش، خواننده افسانه‌ای ایران در سال‌های ۴۰ تا ۵۷ شمسی، با صدایی دلنشین و هنری بی‌نظیر، در قلب کاباره میامی، جایی که پاتوق هنرمندان و ثروتمندان بود، به اوج شکوفایی خود رسید. این مکان نه تنها بانی لحظاتی خاص درزندگی‌اش بود، بلکه مالک آن (محمود قربانی)، نخستین عشق او نیز به شمار می‌رفت. ترانه‌ای که با قلم شهیار قنبری نوشته و با نواهای پرویز اتابکی آراسته شده، به یکی از زیباترین آثار این خواننده تبدیل شد
