Jaguar F-Type R75 - #TheFinalRoar

Показать описание
For over a decade, the F-Type has been Jaguar's sports car. It's ticked every single box on the sports car checklist to qualify—a sporty and sleek design, a potent powertrain, a purposeful driving position, a snarling soundtrack, and above all else, a pedigree of sports car ancestors dating as far back as the 1930s. Trace the F-Types family tree back nine generations, and you'll be rewarded with the most spectacular list of sports cars and racing cars.

This is the Jaguar F-Type R75 Coupe Plus, and despite being based on a model that's now over ten years old and powered by an engine initially used in the mid-1990s, it is possibly the most significant Jaguar sports car ever - for one very unfortunate reason: it's the ending to a very substantial story.

The F-Type R75 is now the final run for not only Jaguar sports cars but also Jaguar sports cars with internal combustion engines. Once production of the F-Type R75 ends, Jaguar sports cars will 'roar' no more.

Just bought my first Jaguar F-Type R. Albeit, it’s a 2015, I’m in LOVE! ❤ I Saved A Jaguar!

Bought one of the last F-Type SVR's ever built, it will never leave my possession. All round useability you can tootle along with great MPG, but press the buttons and you've got a roaring monster. Stunning vehicle!

A very good video and I wholeheartedly agree! A Jaguar should if it's a luxury saloon, or ROAR if it's a sports car. It seems, just recently, a few manufacturers are pulling back from their pure EV future plans, and I hope Jaguar does too. Mercedes have recently confirmed the new CL63 will be powered by the 4 litre Twin Turbo V8, as sales of the C63 saloon and estate with a 4-cylinder hybrid have been much lower than their predecessors. It'll be a sad day indeed when there are no more petrol engine Jaguars to stir the soul.

Great video. Have a V6S AWD tuned to 475hp on 93 octane with oem forged wheels...it is truly epic.

I own a Jag XKR- R X150 and I love getting in it and firing it up! Jaguar are in real trouble if they do not get the next stage in their re brand correct. All those great cars you mentioned including the Project 7, Project 8, XJR-575 and the XKR-S intend to be forgotten and pushed to one side by jaguar which is beyond ridiculous. The F-type could still be developed and new XJ and XK would be more than logical. We'll just have to wait and see what they do and hope it is something as amazing as what came before, somehow I doubt that will be the case though.

I saved a Jaguar, in July. The dealer received my BRG/Tan P575 R75 on June 13 - the day before production ceased. Traded in my much loved 2023 P450. The P575 is a beast and plan for it to be my last sports car. Love it (and this video - well done, sir!)

Jaguar's E-Type successor, the F-Type R75 Special Edition, goes out with a bang, excuse the pun @driven.videos! A Jekyll & Hyde character, then, bristling with class, suave sophistication, and race-bred nostalgia. The future greats are dying off, one by one, in spectacular style. Great review too.

I bought my 575HP F-Type R (US) Flamethrower in 2021. It is truly a shame that the last F-Type has been produced and that there are no more new Jag's. Such a fun car. I kept my last sportscar '06 E46 BMW M3 for 219, 000 miles over 15 years, I hope the Jag lasts as long, 52, 000 miles and counting.

Great review, I'm on my 2nd F Type having just saved one of the last V8's. The smile on your face is the way I feel every time I sit inside and look for an excuse to go out for a drive. Who knows what the future holds, but it's a tuff act to follow.

No one wants to buy a jaguarEV! Look at AMG, they are bringing back the V8 because no one wants a 4 cylinder AMG!

“Save A Jaguar”. - Felt the same as yourself and hence 144 days ago put one on the drive. F-Type R in BRG. Loving every moment I slide behind the perfectly sized tactile delight of heated leather enrobed steering wheel. Placing my rump between the sublime yet effective side cushions of the firm yet supportive seat before reclining to rest my back against a truly effective motor driven lumber support, my shoulders feeling the support from the chairs upper wings as my head rests against the firm yet cushioned headrest………All Day Comfortable 👌……….Did we say that it’s heated and cooled ? The only disappointment I’ve found is the face lifted models are less rowdy at lower rpm compared with the first generation.☹️. But on the upside the ride quality and handling balance are perfect for a daily driver across fen roads and should allow European touring in search of great driving roads to be pure pleasure and not pain. 👍😊 It’s up there with the Aston Martin DB11 V8 both have their strengths and weaknesses, both give you that inner glow and smile on the face when driven down the right road. “Long Live Jaguar”. PS The Adaptive Headlights are very good.

Love my Manual transmission F-type V6 2018MY. The V6 is a perfectly balanced engine for daily use on A & B roads. The manual transmission and looks make it a perfect package at under £30K.

Exceptionally well-done and entertaining video. Just Saved a Jaguar by getting a convertible F-Type P575 as my Model S Plaid is just too darn quiet...though I never complain about the Tesla's 1020 HP and 1050 ft-lb of torque...though those numbers & my right foot have been genuinely evil tire killers.

Keep in mind that on a new Jag, the 5 year / 60, 000 mile warranty also includes basic scheduled service costs (not brake pads or wipers), quite unlike the Boxster GTS 4.0 that I was comparing the Jag to, that just gives you a free first oil change and then horribly expensive service visits.
