Woodburn, Oregon | 4k Driving Tour

Woodburn is a city in Marion County, Oregon, United States. Incorporated in 1889, the community had been platted in 1871 after the arrival of the railroad. The city is located in the northern end of the Willamette Valley between Portland and Salem. Interstate 5 connects it to major cities to the north and south.

Beautiful small town. Went to the Wood Shoe Tulip festival, so much fun.

This was the year of the height of the pandemic. I spotted a tiny glimpse of our old office building, of which at this time in 2020, we were still in the process of closing it out, since beginning of 2018, already sold to a new owner in early 2020 & so we were still moving our things out by end of year. It was a sad time for us because we did not only lose our office, which we got built in the mid 1980's & was our building for all this time until this closing, but we also lost a loved one. I kept a piece of a countertop & I took many photos & home videos of the building for reminiscence. Anyway, a nice romp through modern Woodburn. We also have some old home videos made by my dad (RIP) that show some parts of Woodburn in 1989, basically a ride to the office & Woodburn was under heavy snow.
