My Simon is a 17 year old Rag doll. I have had him since 7 months. He would never demean himself by batting things around or chasing after inanimate objects even though I know cats do that. Maybe because he never had a mother since she and his siblings all passed away during birth and he was raised by the woman who bred the mother. He doesn't know how to act like a cat I guess, he is the love of my life. My husband passed in March so it is just the 2 of us. I put him in car and he lays on passenger seat and slides over on console so he is near me and is happier going with me and not being home alone. He is my life and I don't know, if he goes how I will handle it. I talk to him all the time to say what we are going to do, he understands so much it is like I am not alone. He had diabetes, I gave shots 7 months went in remission, have to give enemas 2 times a week his upper GI does not work and sometime if it hurts he says to me meow meow which means he wants an enema. It is so sweet he knows I will help him. I am never lonely as long as I have him. I also take him to get twice a week for hydration, which he is not too happy with, but seems to keep going since his kidneys are failing also. Well that is our life. Glenadine
