Drinking Camel's Milk - A Way Of Life In The Gobi!

The people of the Gobi Desert of southern Mongolia have been raising their Bactrian camel for thousands of years. They use camel milk as daily food and boil with water as milk tea. Also, they ferment camel milk to make kumis. The kumis is a kind of beverage to restore energy because of its rich vitamins. Thanks to Sanjmyatav and Oktyabr's family!

I admire the Mongolian way of life. Clean country, simple people living and experiencing actual reality of life. No wonder Mongolians are so healthy and sound.

I wanted to highlight something important. In many videos I saw usage of plastic bags for grocery shopping. Mongolia is a clean living with nature country and plastic is a cancer. Once people get comfortable using it. There is no stopping. Ban plastic in Mongolia. You are a popular figure in your country. Think about it. Thanks. As Mongolia is a desert not suitable for agriculture, tourism could be the future for Mongolia as it's a beautiful country with lot of history to offer. Don't let plastic bags ruin it as it has done to my country.

In Saudi Arabia, we do 100% same method to milk it.
The camel is different from others like cows or sheep.
The milk is inside the body of female camel. You can’t milk unless she is ( ATEF) means kind. That’s why we brought the baby camel to his mum first after the mum become ( kind) the milk leaks from her body to her breasts. Otherwise you can’t get milk because her breast does not give milk.

The camel milk has 0% fat. So that’s why Arabs spend 20 days in the desert without water. Because they drink camel milk only. Which does not make them thirsty at all.

You can’t make cheese and dairy from camel milk because has no fat.

The way the Mongolians ride camels and ordering camel to sit is exactly same as what we do with our camels.

There are lots of similarities. However our camels have only one hump.
