Today's tour is from Wuppertal. A German beautiful city in North Rhine-Westphalia state located between the Ruhr (Essen) to the north, Düsseldorf to the west, and Cologne to the southwest, and over time has grown together with Solingen, Remscheid and Hagen, with a population of approximately 355,000, the seventh-largest city in North Rhine-Westphalia.
During this tour, we walk through the city center on a busy day. So you can enjoy the day life atmosphere during the walk. Also, we ride the city's famous suspension railway (Wuppertal Suspension Railway or Wuppertaler Schwebebahn).

Ich habe letztes Jahr eine Kurzreise nach Wuppertal angetreten, weil ich unbedingt mit der berühmten Schwebebahn fahren wollte. Es waren tolle Tage, ich habe viel Schönes und Interessantes entdecken dürfen und die Schwebebahnfahrten waren sowieso immer ein besonderes Erlebnis. Auch nach Sonnenuntergang! Ich hatte für die 3 Nächte ein Klasse Hotel, Wetter hat auch mitgespielt, ich war richtig glücklich 😍 Schön, es auf diese Weise im Geiste nochmal zu erleben.

Früher war die Innenstadt viel schöner und abwechslungsreicher....hat alles sehr an Qualität auch in den Geschäften nachgelassen....eine negative Entwicklung....Wuppertal ist meine alte Heimatstadt und kenne sie sehr

When you thought you couldn't find a place like this, can I even describe how magical Wuppertal is? Where have I been all my life?!

Ich kenne Wuppertal (überwiegend Barmen) noch aus den 70er Jahren, als ich dort gelernt und gearbeitet habe. Schon damals fing es an wirtschaftlich zu kriseln, aber die Stadt hatte damals noch solide 420.000 Einwohner und eine gut funktionierende Infrastruktur. Die einstige "Krone des Bergischen Landes" hat es dann tatsächlich geschafft, bis auf 340.000 Einwohner herunterzukommen, ein Phänomen, das meines Wissens einzigartig in der Region war. Die immer schon schwierige Topographie, dazu der Niedergang der Textilindustrie und Mißwirtschaft haben das Seine dazu beigetragen. Äußerst bedauerlich, denn ich mochte diese alte Industriestadt damals sehr...😑

이도시에 누님이 살고 계셔서 예전에 몇번 다녀온 적이 있는데
스베베반 이라고 흔들열차가
개천을 따라 달리고 있었는데 아직도 잘 다니고
있네요.
그리고 시내에 사람도
별로 없었는데 지금은
사람들로 많이
분비고 있에요. 활력이 있는도시로 변모한것 같아요.
그때보니 이 열차가
다니기 시작한지 110년이
넘었다는 말을듣고 놀랐던적이
있었어요.
잘 감상했습니다 .

I highly recommend this beautiful mountain town: The air always smells with green grass, the drinking water is sweet from mountain springs. There are two walking tours with unique scenery. You can also sit on the University Hill at the summer evenings,
and enjoy a very magnificent sunset!
