Complete Story...

....This tornado first touched down around 8PM morphing from a cone to a brilliant multiple vortex tornado. At one point there were two tornadoes on the ground... A cone-ish elephant trunk and a brief rope making this the third day in a row I witnessed two tornadoes on the ground at the same time.
....Attempting to intercept this tornado at high speeds on dirt roads with a bad front end alignment yielded shaking video for the first 10 or so minutes (not seen here). The tornado reached EF2 status northwest of Woonsocket South Dakota and eventually became an EF4 South of Alpena as it destroyed a farmstead. The two people taking refuge in the basement at the time only suffered minor scratches cuts and bruises. The tornado dissipated Northwest of Alpena.
....Many other tornadoes touched down this day and the small town of Wessington Springs SD took a direct hit. A reported 20 minute warning time allowed residents to seek cover. No fatalities occurred.

You talk like a poet. One of thing I love about your videos is that you put careful thought and narration into it. The way you explain and describe things makes your videos that much more enjoyable. Definitely my favourite storm chaser.

Why can't all storm chasers and weather phenomena aficionados be as chilled, calm and collected as you, Hank? :D

I love how you bring in a sense of realism, its a beautiful thing to observe for those not affected by its path, and I find some stormchasers seem to forget that, getting hyper and worked up, excited and happy, yet that thing could be destroying lives, and whilst we watch in awe, you remind people that its beautiful but deadly.

you catch some of the most outstanding weather, but what i love most is the easy and almost poetic way you describe the events, i now consider your channel a must for severe weather post`s and have for about four years, you are the most talented and well spoken chaser, keep it up and safe hunting, a canadian

Nice. Hands down you are my favorite storm chasing narrator. Lol

I'm not a vetern storm chaser but I do chase alot were live and I've seen some interesting weird things storms can do here in tornado ally, they don't even have to put down a tornado to be interesting and surprising.

The way you show your stories, Hank, you should write a book. *Seriously!* Your way with words make us laugh, make us cry, but thrill us with your knowldge and bravery - all sorts - and your love for critters, rescuing them off roads! Your subscribers would love to buy your book - I would! So go to Amazon Kindle Publishing (KDP) and get info. I'm sure you'll be onto a winner.

Love your work! When I was younger I used to study tornadoes and be completely fascinated, as I grew older I guess I forgot about them, I'm now just getting back to learning about them and it's more exciting than ever. Thank you for the wonderful footage, it's very enjoyable fantastic work!

Hey Pecos Hank! I just came back 5 years later to tell you that I've been watching your videos for three years! I love your channel so much! Long story short, I was on a car moving to Florida. We stayed at our friend's house in Georgia so we can rest. But when before we went to their house, an EF0 tornado came! We had to go through it because there was no other way. But it was kinda fun doing that! When I'm upset, I watch your videos. They help me though my day, since there is lightning, thunder, rain, and a very rare occurrence of tornadoes in Florida. Your the best, Pecos Hank. Take care, and I'll always watch your videos! ツ
