13-year-old Ariana Grande attended Kathy Griffin's comedy show at Carnegie Hall in New York on January 19, 2007. While staying at the same hotel, Ariana sent Kathy a fan letter. This aired on Season 3 Episode 1 of My Life on the D-List. Ariana told Kathy it was her in 2014. Kathy told this story in her 2016 audiobook Kathy Griffin's Celebrity Run-Ins.
