Video Recorded on December 16, 2022: After a long whole while since my first video of both elevators here, I've decided to return back to the Alumni Center (known as the Association Of Former Students) while at Texas A&M University to do a much better and updated take on both elevators. I originally planned to start with the passenger elevator because of the rare buttons as some of you guys may remember back in summer of 2018 (before mod), and hoping it was still original. But sadly, THE RARE BUTTONS ARE NOW GONE!!!! :( But DO NOT START crying yet! Everything else was still kept original including the cab and the epic motor!!! :D Anyway, I first started off with the service elevator because it's still original like always and planned on skipping the passenger elevator mainly for what I've mentioned above, only for me to show a quick glimpse of it rather than a full ride like I did on the service elevator. But realizing that the motor is still original on the passenger elevator along with the beautiful cab, I decided to film and ride it anyways. Turns out that the mod was only the COP replaced, but everything else is original. But you know what's even better? THE FAN IS OFF AS WELL!!!!! :D :D :D I can clearly hear the motor WAY WELL than on the service elevator, although the fan isn't too loud. To be honest with you, I have seen WAY WORSE MODS than this! I can see why they had to replace the COP; according to a lady I spoke to prior to filming, she told me that it was really hard for them to find a replacement for these type of buttons on the COP (before mod clip from 2018 included), so they had no choice but to replace it with the new ThyssenKrupp COP. Other than that, everything else is still original. Honestly, the new COP doesn't look too good to be inside of a fancy like this, but the epic motor had thankfully made me forget about the generic slap-on mod. I really wish I could've filmed it sooner, but I was 2 months late.

Service Elevator: Installed in 1986.

Passenger Elevator: Installed in 1986, partially modded in 2022.

I strongly do apologize for being less active for apparently about a week to equally a week and a half. School got quite busy for me, then I was out on vacation for spring break, and I had just finished my midterm exams today. But I promise you that uploads will begin to resume this week! Speaking of that, I have recently gotten PLENTY of more contents that you guys are absolutely going to love. And did I also forgot to mention that I’m almost close to 50, 000 subscribers? Not to beg attention, but I would really appreciate if you can get me to 50, 000 subs by my upcoming birthday (which I don’t know if that would be the case though). But like I said, I’ve got some GREAT contents coming your way! While on my vacation last week, I have filmed plenty of amazing elevators in which will be a mystery in the coming weeks when I start uploading these videos, and ONE of them will be commemorating my birthday that is in the next few weeks, which also doubles as my 50, 000 subscribers are special at the same time if I do reach it in time that is. But in the meantime, please stay tuned for some amazing contents! I’ll do my best to upload one video each day. Thank you so much for subscribing, staying subscribed, and as well as being patient with me when I’m not active. Have a wonderful rest of the week!

With Kind Regards,
-Jim (JimLiElevators)

These are beautiful elevators. Even though the buttons on the inside were replaced on the passenger, at least it still has some original character.

I could barely hear the motor in the service elevator, sounds like Chewbacca! Same for passenger, still EPIC tho despite the fixture replacement and original bells.
The original motor for the passenger elevator reminds me of Omni La Mansion Del Rio elevators, like the Dover one which got modded by OTIS in 2013.
