My Moslem friends said our lent is easier than their fasting. As they celebrate Ramadan by fasting 12 hours, we Catholics do lent for 24 hours. Today I am trying to only eat boiled casava and drink only water and I am not going to lie I am so exhausted as I drink caffeine daily 😅 but I hope I can do this for the next 8 Fridays. As the rest Monday to Saturday I am going to be full vegetarian, including abstaining fish as I love fish the most 😢 Good luck for all Catholics all across the world

In Poland there is beatiful singing consideration of Jesus suffering called Bitter Regrets. It originates from beginning of 18th century and is celebrated in churches on Sunday. Pope allowed to grant a full indulgence for such prayer. God bless you. Thank you for this amazing channel

Yes, I will read the Bible every day. Spending time and praying to Mary is a sin. Jesus Christ said to worship God with all your heart, mind and soul. To love your neighbor and your enemies.
I'll eat meat because it's not about what we eat or drink, but about righteousness and praying to the Holy Spirit.

The word for Lent is Spanish is Cuarentena from the Latin word Quadragesima that you talk about. And yes, it means 40 days
