From Howard Zinn’s, A People’s History, to The New York Times 1619 Project, revisionists have claimed that America's past is nothing more than a history of oppression, slavery, and exploitation. During the ongoing battle to control American history, the media and the educational system have manipulated young Americans into turning a cold shoulder to bedrock principles of free speech, individual liberty, and limited government. Join us for the second of a three-part series, America’s History of Hope. You will gain a deeper understanding of the dangers of revisionist history and the importance of preserving America's founding ideals and principles.

Before all this and computer family tree research. My aunt and her retired neighbor researched my family tree. My family started in 1629 with 2 brothers. I'm the 12th generation. They settled in Salem and north of it. Because it was part of the crown and many things documented. Births, deaths, wills, and property. Also census, military service, through out the years. Nothing found and families can also do it because records were kept. My belief is most colonist detested slavery

Americans are experts at revisionist history. They claim Vietnam was a victory, Custer's Last Stand was a glorious defeat etc. Alex Axelrod wrote a comic claiming the US won WWI!😂
