BREAKING: House Passes SAVE Act, Major Voting Suppression Bill

The U.S. House of Representatives voted Thursday to pass the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, a major voter suppression measure that, if it became law, could disenfranchise millions of eligible voters and badly undermine U.S. democracy.

The vote count was 220 to 208, with four Democrats voting for the bill and zero Republicans opposing it.

Marc, you've hit on a bigger problem . Even though I presented the needed original documents to get my Real ID, I was denied one and my application was sent to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services "for further review". This was done after my state's officials also declined to approve my Real I.D. I've been a U.S. citizen for 58 years. This is unnerving.
