Where I live in south TX, it rarely gets cold enough for this heater. However a couple years ago we had a power outage during winter. So I bought one of these, as an emergency heat source. I now use it as a primary heat source, as it is far more efficient than electric heat.

I also have one of these although mine is the propane model. It is absolutely the best thing I have added to my garage. Have been using it for 3 years now with no issues at all. Warms my garage up to near 70 degrees with the heater set at the lowest temp setting when the outside temps are below freezing with no problem.

Ihave the 30000 btu propane radiant heater. Its my only heat in 14x70 mobile home. Does a great job no matter how cold it gets. I live in indiana. had mine for 4 years now have to clean pilot light out once a year. best heaters made

I have this same heater hooked up to my natural gas for the last 11 years. II live near Boise Idaho. My home is 24x44 on the main floor and the entire main floor gets heated by this one unit. I use a dehumidifier to keep the water vapor from condensing. My place is well insulated niw but has not always been as the remodel has taken years while I work. We are happy with how it has been working for us.

Try one of the radiant heaters if you get a chance. I can feel the heat as soon as it turns on standing 10 feet away

Just purchased the same heater at my local Closeout store only the LP model. They were priced at $139.00 and were factory reconditioned. I ask the stock guy to call his boss and see if he would take a $100.00 Cash and he did. Best $100.00 I’ve spent in a while. Was running a Dyna Glo K-1 heater but the price of fuel was killing me. Definitely worth the money!

I’ve been using mine for 2.5 years now in Ohio. It’s in my workshop which is 20x24’. It keeps my shop a steady 65° even in sub zero weather.

That was a great review of the product. I live north of Niagara Falls and the winter weather and wind is a real drain on the pocketbook. Like to see a test with a carbon monoxide reader over a length of time.

Im seriously looking into such a heat source for my garage.
Last winter i used a small space heater which has a very good fan and a separate fan feature which can be used to cool the unit before turning off (which most today dont have)
My electric bill is typically around $70 to $90 per month the rest of the year, but ising that small space heater it jumped to $220!! Per month for the winter which is absolutely crazy.

I have a single pipe, steam/radiator heat system in my 1941 home, with an oil furnace which is very efficient,
.. so I'm currently trying to decide if its best to have a small wall hanging radiator added in the garage, or to get ine of these units.. 🤔

I’m in south Texas and I been using this old natural gas heater for my pets for many years. But I’m worried it could break down and I would need a new one. But I wasn’t sure if they still sold these natural gas heaters? I thought they had outlawed them???? I came across this brand while searching. So I guess they do sell natural gas heaters still? I’m Actually tempted to buy a new one soon before they do get rid of them. It felt good to have it during the 2021 winter storm we had in Texas. I spent the night in the porch where we have the heater lol. And yes it’s drafty in there still so they do get fresh air as well. The one you have is massive! Lol. We have the natural gas thing sticking out of the wall. We connect a yellow metal hose to it etc. I’m assuming this one is connected like that as well? Just want to make sure if it is what I need and can use with my current connection.
