After the discharge period has elapsed, the empty LC unit must be replaced with a new one that is filled with the same lubricant. To replace the empty lubrication system, remove the protection cover from the control unit and unscrew it from the lubrication point. Unscrew the control unit from the empty LC unit turning it counter clock wise. The control unit will automatically shut off. All settings are saved. Use a waterproof pen to write the activation and expected replacement date on the new lubrication system. Remove the plastic cover from the new LC unit. Place the control unit on the LC unit and turn it clockwise as far as it will go. Make sure that the arrow mark on the LC unit lines up with the raised edge of the control unit. The system is correctly assembled when the display shows the pre-set discharge period. Remove the black outlet plug from the lubricator and screw the activated lubrication system into the lubrication point. Place the protection cover on the control unit for extra protection.
