How I Passed the CKA Exam (2023)

This past month, I took and passed the Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Exam, and let me tell you, it was not easy!

I made this video for anyone that is preparing for or considering taking the CKA, This video answers the questions I had along the way, as well as my experience, how I prepared, and tips on how to pass on the first try.

I work in the cloud space and learning DevOps in the current job. However I am a high level architect and my current job does not need hands on commands. Is it even possible for me to think of preparing for this exam Steven ? I am overwhelmed seeing folks say it’s a difficult exam.

Hi Steven thanks for the video. I had a question regarding exam scheduling. Can you schedule the exam anytime you want or like lets say if I bought it today can I schedule it in 3 months? and also for the retake ?

I see that you get a grade for your success in the exam - is the grade on top of the certificate or is it only for your own knowlage?

I feel like the CKA is indeed pretty impressive inside the resume - after completing it - what other exams do you think would help my/your career as a devops engineer?
Thought about completing AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional and maybe GitLab Certified CI/CD Associate...
