This accident was not an accident, it was a deliberate flight chosen by a pilot who did not have a licence in Australia, who drove home from a party intoxicated and knew his planned career of a helicopter pilot was over.
He chose to go on a death flight, a flight that was a suicide flight.
Many studies show the links between alcohol addiction and suicide.
Unfortunately the report fails to mention anything relevant and its now only a matter of time
before we see another similar tragedy.
Don't expect any common sense approach to this classic well known problem.
