The Low Profile Creative Pebble Plus 2.1 Computer Speakers

It's not often that I really like a consumer product but this one suits my need very well and after using it for a year and a half, I thought it was worth showcasing.

The Creative Pebble Plus 2.1 is a powered speaker system with two small satellites and a subwoofer. You can plug it directly into your computer or go out of something like a Sound Devices MixPre-6 (like I do) and get a break from your headphones. Because they angle slightly upwards, they direct sound off of the table and up towards your ears which improves sound quality.

In this video I say they are around $50 but since I last looked, the price has gone down to $40 which is really nice because they were $62 when I bought them in December 2019. If you are interested in any of the Creative Pebble series, I've included a few links below for you to check them out.

Been using the pebbles since 7 Jul 2021, super happy with them. I had trouble with my monitor's in-built speakers cutting out a lot of the dialogue.

For consumer level speakers creative do a really good job with most of their products, I had a predecessor to these the "Creative I-Trigue 3300 43 Watts 2.1 Speaker" surprisingly good; no they have never been used for anything serious or critical.
