Space mining was a hot topic at PDAC this year, with many speakers, including officials from the Canadian government, weighing in on the subject. All the information sessions were filled beyond capacity and conference organizers were even forced to turn people away.

With the mining industry kicking off a new decade, we asked if the concept of mining in space is still a science fiction or a soon-to-be reality. Here’s what PDAC attendees had to say about it.
