Brilliant and so helpful! From being a passionate photographer to a focus-lacking painter I now see what is going wrong. I love everything I see and find it really difficult to narrow it down to a composition so as a photographer I am prolific (digital was a blessing) but that doesn't translate into my paintings because I try to paint absolutely everything.
