Incredible to think this was the last time we won the cup. Proud to say i was there, my nerves were utterly shredded during that shoot out. I'll always remember watching Rogan walk forward and thinking he looked so confident. I was right at the fence and buried my head in my scarf, praying he'd miss it. Next thing i knew the place was going mental and Theo's on his knees celebrating. I couldn't watch big Irvine's penalty either, again, i buried my face in my scarf and just prayed. Once more the place went absolutely mental, i looked up and Theo's holding Irvine aloft.
I couldn't wait to watch the highlights at night, so i could actually see Theo's save and Irvine's winning penalty.

I was at the Aberdeen end that game. Terrible game of football but at least the Dons won in the end.

Bonner went the wrong way “7” times in that penalty shootout……
Then went to the World Cup ….and became a Hero saving a Penalty for Ireland …..
Will never rate as a Goalkeeper for me…..
