Narrassistic people have a Jezabal Spirit - I have been through this battle & won. The Key To Win is remain silent & make them believe there are succeeding to destroy you, but have your own plan to win there soul. What you said is quite true! If you hold on to resentment, it gives the abuser power over you. I did forgive my narcissistic friend, the day that she betrayed my trust. To everyone who is going through a similar situation, I wanted to say, be of good courage! You can heal! My friendship with a narcissist has helped me to become a stronger, better person than I was before. And what is more, I have lost my fear. Even among narcissists, different people make different choices. You don't have to fear history repeating itself! I did walk away from my friend, in more ways than one.
