Father Brown never booked the trip to New York on the Titanic. Hi intended disembarking at Cobh. En route he met a wealthy couple who offered to pay his fare to New York. He messaged his Bishop to ask for leave but was refused. That is the only reason he left the ship at Cobh.

I grew up in Dublin from the time i was born until i was 10 years old. I moved to Canada in 2005 and i Haven't been back to Dublin since. Im 27 yrs old now and i hold this beautiful place close to my heart. Glasnevin brings me such peaceful yet nostalgic memories of walking through and laying flowers on my nannys grave. I love this beautiful historic landmark so much. I will absolutely be booking my ticket to come for a visit after this many years. ❤️❤️

I understood that Charles Stewart Parnell was also buried at Glasnevin. He was a significant person in the history of Ireland.

It’s a shame that the new part of this cemetery opposite this part of the cemetery isn’t maintained properly. In fact sadly, it’s a disgrace.

I shouldn't really say this (as it involves the dead) but that was a really lovely video presentation. Hoping to get back in July so I'll check out your guided tours then. Well done with your facts etc
