Alan Garfield on Cross Burning in Dubuque

Chief of Police Mark Dalsing, along with Mayor Roy Buol and various local officials, held a briefing on April 14 regarding the state of the investigation of a cross burning that occurred on April 13, 2016 in the early hours of the morning. Police Chief established a community group, known as the Chief's Forum, made up of 15 local groups/ constituencies of racial, sexual and religious orientation. Along with others, I addressed the media from my perspective with the Chief's Forum, the Children of Abraham, Temple Beth El and the University of Dubuque.
