Splendor Duel Review | This Game Is Really Freakin' Good. No, Really!! (TOP 10 0f 2022?)

If you had told me at the beginning of the year that one of the best and one of my favorite games to come out in 2022 had the name Splendor in the title, I would have considered you out of your mind. But here we are. It may have Splendor in the title, but boy does this game work as a 2 player slightly thinky puzzle aspect of an engine build game. Everything you need to know in 8 minutes about it and whether or not it's right for you!

I have a ton of 2P games of the same weight as Splendeur Duel. For example, targi, watergate, radland, patchwork, 7 wonder duel, paris and more.
This is probably the best one among them!

Believe it or not, this is the only game that my daughter (9 years old) consistently asks me to play with her every day or two (day 30 now). She has never done this with the other 2P games.

The spatial component might make this a pickup for me. One of my favorite games to run with my family is Potion Explosion.
p.s. Does anyone else think the crown on the box looks like it has googly eyes XD

I bought this for my brother for Christmas, now I am wishing I picked up a second copy for me! Of course I'll be able to borrow his game or play with him occasionally... But it's not the same as owning it :) might wait for the second printing though as the first printing is selling out fast at least in Australasia
