Props to him. Someone rattles off a list of stuff like that to me while I'm focused on something else, I will respond as if I heard everything they said, and then immediately forget it, because I'm focused on whatever it is I was already doing.

It doesn't matter how attentive my response seems, if I'm not looking at you when you're talking to me, 100% chance I'm not actually paying attention.
