El álbum se grabó del 20 de febrero al 22 de febrero de 2004 durante la gira australiana de Meat Loaf. Meat Loaf está respaldado por los conciertos de la Orquesta Sinfónica de Melbourne . Meat Loaf has had the very beautiful and talented singer Patty Russo performing the female lead parts of his songs since the late ‘80’s and his amazing band is known as the “ Neverland Express “ which have been playing with him since the ‘90’s. The other blonde female singer is C.C. Colletti who does an amazing job too. On the 2007 Three Bats Live” tour Patty Russo was replaced by another beautiful and talented female lead singer Aspen Miller who filled in nicely. The theatrical rock music was mostly all written by Jim Steinman for Meat Loaf who also passed away in 2021 and then followed by Meat Loaf passing away on January 20, 2022 RIP to both who brought so much musical talent and joy to the world 😇🎼🎤🎸

Her names patti russo she sang with meat for years from the early 90s to around 2013. A song they sung together was couldn’t have said it better, they did a great preformance at that concert with the MSO

I was at this concert that night and the next. The man was a force of nature when he walked onto the stage. His music works so well with an orchestra because that’s how Jimmy wanted it, everything huge and bombastic, there was never a point where he went over the top because there was no such thing for him.

He's amazing in concert. My parents went to Bat Out Of Hell. I went with then to Bat Out Hell 2. We were lucky he put an extra day on so we ended up second row from the front right at the centre. He did classics from both albums.

Great review of an often overklooked gem!. The symphony adds a whole new dimension to this type of music. Id also suggest trying KISS Symphony from Melbourne as well, the whole orchestra is painted up too 😆

Meatloaf won me with the opening line - Victoria Bitter (better known as VB). I saw Meatloaf (with Karla DeVito) at his “Bat Out Of Hell” concert at Festival Hall in Melbourne in 1978. His show was excellent and we were extremely lucky in that his support act was “The Angels”. What a night. Meatloaf’s “Bat Out of Hell” is the highest selling album in Australia followed by John Farnham’s “You’re The Voice” in second place. Interesting to note they both went on to do concerts with the most excellent Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.
