How to Connect Bluetooth Mouse to MacBook

How to connect a Bluetooth mouse to your Mac. MacBook Pro 16 used here. Also how to disconnect (can turn mouse off if don't want to fully disconnect).

My mouse is a wireless but not blue tooth and I have an external usb so when I plug in the usb for the mouse its saying its a keyboard

at first I thought it didn't work but then I saw a Logitech thing. I saw it was loose and pulled it out.It was a wireless USB really helpful tho I finally found out the USB
