I got one for Christmas, love it for way more than eggs. I've steamed shrimp, rice, broccoli and also baby potatoes. I also found medium boiled are my favorite yolks, I hate whites so backyard critters get those.

I dont have a water container.A viewer said to use 5 tablespoons for hard boiled but that doesnt seem like enough water.Also, has anyone tried not piercing the egg? I dont have a piercer and I wouldnt want tiny egg fragments in the yolk so I'll have to cook unpierced eggs.I dont think it will matter since boiled eggs dont usually crack for me.Good this video mentioned not to put the poached and scrambled containers on the metal plate.Other videos do not mention that and theres always one person who will what they shouldnt. I do see 2 flaws-the piercing of the egg and water dripping into the scrambled or poached eggs. Also, I wouldnt want to leave it unattended for safety reasons.
