It's as if the saying "through stone and steel we trudge" was already a saying, but now with great sadness the "faith" part must be added, as that is how far the Imperium has fallen

I just love the reference to the Misericordia belief of the Custodes (in case u don't know, it's said that for each enemy Custodes un-alive with their knife, the Misericordia, the Emperor is slightly healed, bringing him to be eventually fully healed)
