Wake me up when they add an economy to the game and fix that terrible generator based gameplay with a big, fat, heavy dose of cooldowns and % chance to have a % chance to have a % chance of tickling the enemy in a funny place.
Seriously it feels like they made a long list of all the fun and well liked features and systems of successful ARPGs, including past Diablos, and said "let's not do ANY of these". Then made an MMO-lite without any social features. The single thing they got right, was art direction, even though contrast seems to have been lost at some point in development.

The arithmetic error at 2:30 reveals a lot of the truth about who works on these games, the programmers are in their early 20s and their brains aren't fully formed. They either didn't go to college, or didn't get anything out of it. I'm a physics professor so I see a lot of attempts at "nonsense math" from this age group. I can tell that re-arranging these arithmetic formulas gets over-complicated in their minds, whereas a professional could see it so clearly. Weird that billion dollar games can't hire competent consultants.

I've been downloading the season-patch for a good 3 hours now. always jumps up to max bandwith and then down to 1, 5KB/s. The Download server isn't even mentioned in the "oops, we have problems" post, but that is definitely a serverside issue. Maybe they're just delaying to try and hide a bigger server-issue.

My rule of thumb for MMO's: Wait 6-12 months before buying.
All good games have longevity.
