Hey friends, today I'm sharing a flip through my completed weekly vertical Traveler's Notebook insert. I used it for memory keeping and tried various different spreads in the second half of the year. You can clearly see how my style has changed again.

I love your longer-format, think-aloud, process-based videos... This TN vertical weekly layout allows for so many cool interpretations, as does their overall notebook cover/insert system. It's so easy to be overwhelmed by decision-paralysis that it really helps to see you abruptly stop a journal and then return to it later with renewed purpose and creative utility. I'm a bonehead and bought the full year 2023 vertical weekly without thinking... back in the planner-hype season of October last year. Then I totally changed how I'm going to use planners and notebooks this year. Note to self: don't buy all the planners in October thinking you'll be in the same headspace you are at the moment. I also love the scrichy-scratchy patina your cover is showing with the wear from your charms.

This is awesome! I really enjoy seeing how you move through the year and how you create each week to include things that are important. I also love your idea of collecting pieces for a weekly spread. Always enjoy your journal flip throughs. Love how creative and unique each new weeks spread is. So fun for you to be able to look back on. Do you think that you will continue to journal this way throughout 2023 or is it still too early for you to really know? I am still using the same journaling method that I started at the end of 2022 as it seems to be working well for me. Are you participating in InCoWriMo this year?

I admire your junk journals and the creativity you have! I am like you in that I would get behind sometimes on journaling and found it hard to catch up. This is my first year in a weeks and I’ve decided at this point in my life less is more. I’m using the extra pages in the back as journaling pages. I got the weeks notebooks in case I run out of room I can just store them together. We shall see. It’s early.
I’ve been loving your Franklin Christoph pens. The purplie one especially. I really want to order one but I also really want to love it. Are they worth the price? Would they be top picks for you?

I'm trying to daily journal in a B6 Galen Leather every day notebook insert as I have such a notebook hoarde and need to use my stuff! I'm struggling a little bit as it is so much bigger than a6! I did two days on one page and that seemed to calm me down but I'm going to have to do one page on two days sometime before the end of February or I'll have a page left over! Weird problems, right?

What is a "techo kaigi" (sp?).

Also...is that a small "bobble" on the quote starting your new insert? It says "...move your hand in rhythm with your hand in rhythm with...". That's easily fixable, if it is...or maybe I am reading it wrong and it's sort of like lyrics that repeat?

I love the style of your journaling. It's not something I seem to be able to do. Mine is so straightforward and not "artsy" at all...sadly.
