When she says deal she means something like a business deal where you get commission or full payout or whatever.

Deals are like a huge sum of money up front as opposed to salary or hourly pay.

A company paid me six figures just to advertise them for a year. So after that deal I upped my promo rates for other companies and they didn't even complain.

That did change my perspective to money. Like I stopped valueing it. Fell hard into gambling and sheeeesh.
