I work at the largest data center in the country in the midwest. The speed of construction to expand our facility is impressive. Data center executives utilize a great propaganda campaign that says how efficient they are with power consumption and water usage. It is all smoke and mirrors. In the heat of the summer, we currently use between 7 and 9 million gallons of water per day. Our existing data centers are 660 megawatt, and our campus construction will be doubling our size soon. We are building our own prison planet, and I dont think it can be stopped at this point.

Edit: I was wrong on the amount of water usage. It's actually closer to 16 million gal/day currently here in October.

larger data centers = more surveillance = less freedom, less privacy

You have not seen crazy construction until you drive around northern Virginia and see all the data storage buildings going up everywhere. And you can easily spot them, no windows. No matter where I’m driving around fairfax county or Loudoun county, you’ll see them all over.

Metal job shop, we made appx 2 train car size modular data centers per week for two years until we couldn't keep up with their demand quadupling. Interesting thing, these train car size boxes are 12 to 10 gauge stainless structure and quarter inch AR plate. Layman's terms, last eons and bullet proof. Yep, you're onto something Chris.

I work in unnamed datacenter in Columbus area. The amount of resources going into this is crazy.

I haven’t wondered for the last 6 months. They need them for their AI driven CBDC and total biometric surveillance system.

The amount of energy required (for cooling!) to run this is PHENOMENAL

I can think of many reasons they’re in a tizzy to get this done asap & none of them benefit society, but you can bet your firstborn we’ll be paying for it.

SPOILER ALERT: Data centers are for digital IDs that will combine financial, health, employment, travel, government, internet, basically everything that's currently tracking you for a single point of "shut you down" if you don't play by the rules. Tested and successful in China, working on a Nigerian model and both US candidates are promoting digital ID from the perspective of their base that is cheering it on (border security: trump; inclusion: harris). This doesn't end if your political champion wins. Become independent of the technocracy!!!!

Hey Peak Prosperity, ... you might want to reason out why all of Congress took October completely off, out of the building, out of the city ... I suspect that has not been done prior to any election ever. Seems super odd.

May these operations to gather data on us be countered, be confused, be conflicted, be destroyed, and be exposed widely. Amen

If we are going to have a CBDC, central bank digital currency, we are going to need a big processing center

Theres this historic, almost ancient book, and it said this was coming. Something about a mark.

So that Ai can be used to scrub inconvenient history?
They will probably even name the Ai code Winston.

The fake hard drive shortage was the NSA grabbing all data to use for later.
