DJI probably got a warrant to do this, but I don't even dare to fly during a storm. Not because it's illegal, but because I might get the drone caught in the rain from such a high altitude. I did it once by accident during night time (I couldn't see the clouds cluttering up and the weather app was displaying inaccurate data) and I got it back safely. It wasn't light rain. I felt it because I was outside trying to rescue the drone. They were pretty big droplets for a reasonable amount of time. I'm actually impressed that my mini 4 pro could handle all that stress on the propellors. So far no faulty electronics. Even survived a 3 feet crash from a low-hanging awning.
