Oil & Cold Wax Painting Tools and Supplies

Welcome to the new series on cold wax & oil painting.
I'm starting the series with a review of some of the tools & supplies you might want to have. And it's a long list!! (see below)

You don't need everything shown in the video and there are plenty of other supplies you can use. You probably have some of these supplies already as they can be used for so many other mediums & techniques. You need the wax, the gel & some colorants, as well as a way to apply the wax & then take it off.

You are the first person I've seen on the oil and cold wax videos to add the gel to the cold wax. Interesting. I've only seen the cold wax mixed directly with the paint. What difference does it make in the application of the paint. Is it more translucent? I've only painted with straight cold wax and oil.
