And Australia is known for gold that is literally massive. The gold can also literally be sitting on the surface of the ground and not buried. Called "sun bakers"

I love metal detecting. Watching these guys makes me jealous! I have an old garrett infinium pulse detector. With ground balancing and the big coil it will pickup gold 28 to 30"! I found a half gram nugget over 12" ! Also, on non discrimination mode it will pickup black sands, singing small tones at different pitches
