My dad owned a 1969 chevlle SS wit a 3 speed standard transmission I was lucky enough drive that car for 2 years before he traded it in for a 83 suburban. Miss it every day.

I only liked the Mustangs fast backs up to 1967 unless it came with a 429 CJ under the hood, the newer ones are only good for crashing after a car show.

It is my dream car, my grandfather had one, i don’t remember what engine he had replaced it with but it was all one piece aluminum casted, had 2 bottles of nitrous and a parachute to stop it. When he first put wheely bars on it he let me run it down the track (id driven it before and it had a tendency to come off the ground which meant no steering, between us properly went in to the wall a dozen times) fyi I had a great childhood being the oldest grandson… I was at my first drag strip at 3 months old with his hunting ear muffs on. Anyways first time taking it down the strip with the bars, lights fell and I hit it…. The damn bars broke off and I was staring at the moon (in my head…. Fuck fuck fuck fuck) how lucky I was to not hit the wall idk. But god I loved that car, and even more those memories. Miss you, what I’ve give for one more night at the track in Mississippi or Tennessee. If you ever get the chance to drive or own one I highly suggest it!
