When you’re nature is to spend and not save…it’s hard to tell people to save. People will be people and those who save more during great economic prosperity (when rates are low and things are cheap) will continue to save in times of economic hardship (when rates are high). Sooner or later things even out. I don’t buy for one minute that spending more will help. Ya’ll fellow savers can spend…I’m saving strategically. I don’t need the newest car or the “it” neighborhood…I’m doing just fine.
