Welcome to my channel How to Knot and in this video, I will be showing you how to tie a stevedore stopper knot. This knot is great for applications such as general purposes, camping, and sailing.

Start by creating a loop.

Wrap the working end around the standing part once more.

Feed the working end through the loop.

And finally dress and tighten accordingly.

A non-jamming, bulky stopper knot used to prevent the rope from pulling through an object. This is a secure knot that can be easily tied and untied after being exposed to a load.
