Well first off this building is long gone so I would have pulled handlines only for exposure protection. Than I would have used the deck gun from one of the engines and the ladder pipe to fight the fire. Those handlines used to fight the fire we’re doing nothing. Just my take on it and yes I have been in their shoes before. I have been in the fire service for 15 years

It's unusual to see a department rely on a water supply located within the collapse zone.

Great video and still shots! This fire's BTU just to intense for the volume of water supply available. But it really didn''t matter this fire wasn't going to be a quick knock down and safe anything! There are those fires that are simply too much and exceeds our resource capability. All you csn do is focus on the priority exposures and let the point of origin structure go! Grest effort to al firefighters encountered this inferno!!!

Why no blitz fires or deck guns? Big fire=big water

It's ok to use a deck gun on this.

NFFD did a wonderful job, it's too bad that there are jerks out there that would burn down their property instead of fixing it. What an inferno

Don’t think that 1-3/4” with 75 psi is gonna do it

I can’t believe they even pulled the 1”3/4 off the truck for this. 🤦‍♂️
