I grew up with Mark I but when I listen to Purple again I always return to the Mark II, probably due to the modernity of the band with the legendary Glenn Hughes and his funk-rock approach.

Me and several friends were big fans of deep purple for the three albums prior to this I believe. At that time, I did not realize that two of my favorite members were gone. The music was so good I know I didn't realize it for a while.

Wish the band in 1975 played a proper set list with songs only from Burn and Stormbringer. Numbers like Sail Away, full Soldier of Fortune with guitar playing along, You can't do it right etc could replace MK2 numbers that just don't sound right here..adding them to Made in Europe and you have pure perfection. In my perception beginning 1975 was peak RB playing and tone.
