The AceTiger is a 1/10 scale rally car. It is designed from the ground up with pure rally performance in mind. Performance features derived from rally cars have been shrunken down in size and engineered to deliver the utmost performance in a 1/10 scale rally car package. A composite chassis serves as the base of this rally car. Mounted on the front and rear are aluminum shock towers towering over the metal geared differentials. Attached to the robust towers are oil filled shocks providing plush and ground hugging dampening. The steering tie rods and upper and lower arms are adjustable for fine tuning of the toe and camber, effectively altering the handling characteristics of the machine.

This car has awesome power to weight ratio. The vehicle is easily propelled by the 540 sized high performance brushed motor. A brushed electronic speed controller delivers the current efficiently through an included 7.2v 1800mah Ni-Mh battery and charger. The brushed electronic speed controller is lipo ready and can accept 7.4v lipo batteries with a quick switch of a jumper switch. All of this power transfers through a shaft driven four wheel drive system providing ground clawing action through the performance wheels and rally spec tires. We recommend a Gens Ace 7.4v 3300mah lithium battery for an exponential increase in power and efficiency.

The Exceed AceTiger Rally car ready to run package also includes a 2.4ghz radio system. With frequency hopping technology, interference is a thing of the past. No longer do you have to worry about your specific channel. The radio system will automatically take care of that for you while you are focused on handling this beast of a machine.

Purchased few days ago. Arrives Friday. I'll grind it up for a few days and let you guys know how it goes. I got the black stock brushed version. I will run stock for several packs and see how it holds up and then start upgrading and pushing some amps through it. It might indeed be cheap Chinese crap before 120 bucks it's not like I paid a lot to find out. Most rally cars start at 380 for cheap crap and go up from there. This looked like a good platform to start on and more than capable for upgrading.

Anyone think the standard touring A-arms  from the drift or race version will fit with the shock towers and shocks from this one? I'd like a narrower more real look.

So if run it through somewhat deep puddles, how it was in the video will it be ok. If not, where can you get the brushless editions and after that will it be completing waterproof?

If I bought the Ace tiger and then switched the motor to a 3300kv Brushless that usually comes on almost every Brushless exceed, would the servo and esc be capable of handling it? And also would it be ok if I ran a 3000mah nimh battery when I had the brushless in? Or would it definitely ruin something?

I haven't found any info on the ESC for this car. What are the jumper settings to run a lipo battery?
There are two jumpers, the outmost one is on the left two pins, and the inboard one is on the right most pins. No indication of which does what.

Are you sure that is a Polycarbonate body and not PVC?  There is a big difference between the two... most other screen printed bodies from Exceed are made of PVC and the clear bodies sold separately are usually Polycarbonate.

I'll buy one of these if its waterproof, back in 2011 i had a nissan silvia s15 rc and it broke when i crossed it on the water, it was a toy grade

The spoiler pins are gonna rip through lexan; you're better off without it.
