Thank you so much for this series! Quantum information seemed like an insurmountable mountain but you've managed to scale it down into something really accessible to bachelor students, gnawing away at the fears I had of approaching the topic. Please keep doing this - you're really helping students out!

I don't get it. Why do we use these ovals with lines if we can represent 2 level systems as a circle with arrow up and down?
