Someone can swap out a genuine authenticity card for the fake one. Same with the box. So this doesn't really help much. Just tells you whether the authenticity card is fake.

I have been duped with a counterfeit Chanel bag and the authenticity card that came with it does have that plastic sticking out as well. The fakes are really upping their game nowadays. Over time I’ve learnt to identify a genuine Chanel bag by the touch n the smell of the leather ..
