Jalen Brunson led the way for the Knicks with 22 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists, while Miles McBride (playoff career-high 21 points, 5 3PM) and Josh Hart (playoff career-high 22 points, 13 rebounds, 4 3PM) added a combined 43 points in the victory. Tyrese Maxey (33 points, 4 assists, 3 3PM) and Joel Embiid (29 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists) combined for 62 points for the 76ers in the losing effort. The Knicks lead this best-of-seven series, 1-0, with Game 2 taking place on Monday, April 22nd (7:30 p.m. ET, TNT/TruTV).

I'm a die hard Knicks fan, so you know I have no love for Embiid or the 76ers. But the comments trolling Embiid for not performing down the stretch in this game are outrageous. He was playing on one freakin leg. I thought for sure he was done for the year after he came out in the 2nd quarter and writing it off as a series sweep for NY in my mind at halftime. Him coming back out and playing that 2nd half scared the crap out of me. That was gutsy as hell and just his presence out there was almost enough for Philly, even when he wasn't scoring. Stop with the Embiid hate and focus on how Philly didn't foul with time left on the clock 😂
