Round 8 of the GEICO Motorcycle AMA Pro National Guard SuperBike class saw Monster Energy Graves Yamaha's Josh Hayes sweep the checkered, but the real battle was Yoshimura Suzuki's Blake Young take it to the line with Hayes' teammate, Josh Herrin. Also throwing themselves into the chase were Team Hero/EBR's Danny Eslick and Jordan Suzuki's Ben Bostrom.

Haha, I saw you and Josh and was looking at the crowd and felt bad for you guys. You put on a good show but no one seemed to care. I don't know why the sport is dying out so bad, Everyone was cheering for MotoGp but the crowd even for that seemed stronger 3-5 years ago. Sucks.

Wow, that is so sad at the end. They need to bring the sport back down to the middle class people. So many people have dropped out of racing because of the price, and the crowds are reflecting that trend. The crowd was up from last year, but damn it was nothing in comparison to 10-15 years ago. If more people could throw their bike in the back of the truck, go out there and make something of themselves the crowds would be huge again. I hope this isn't a reflection of where the sport is going.
