Finally Ishan Kishan broke his silence after BCCI cancelled his Central Contract with Team India.

Ishan Kishan got sacked from the BCCI after cancellation of his Central Contract from Team India. Ishan Kishan did not take it seriously when BCCI warned him to play Domestic and Ranji matches.

Indian cricket made you a hero but when you act smart, it can turn you to zero, he forgot that. Yes live life king-size but in Indian cricket to attain that status one has to be a stalwart. He was miles from there. Franchise cricket is different. Good that he was shown the correct remedy.

I have to accept that it is a 50:50 fault. BCCI wasn't giving him chances after consistent good performances. I still remember he was dropped after scoring a double century in ODIs and the recent T20I series vs South Africa. I feel BCCI was never going to make him permanent in the team anyways and going to permanently drop him in 1 to 2 years anyways just like Rahane, Pujara, Ishant, Chahal etc. Atleast BCCI showed its true colors at the right time. Also BCCI saw Ranji Trophy as the biggest opportunity and they took it.

Yes. It is very difficult to sit out day in and day out, but he should have realized that team needed him for the England series badly, Bharat was given a chance because he was not available. Had he been available, he was the first choice keeper in tests this home season and the next with Pant not available.
