It's been nearly five years since Abby Williams and Libby German were killed in Delphi and their families are still waiting for an arrest.

3 years? Means they have nothing more than yesterday. He needs to step aside and let ppl who have dealt with this kind of case come in. Why can’t they use familial dna to solve this. If they have dna the murderer has family.

I think they have known who it is for awhile. I’ve followed this case since the beginning. They must not have enough evidence to arrest and the district attorney doesn’t have what he needs to win a conviction in court. Maybe Someone has given him a false alibi and might not even realize it. Or they do know what he’s done and they are too scared to come forward. We’ve been told we’ll be shocked when we find out who it is and it’s bigger than we realize. It’s so sad for these families. The girls and all their loved ones deserve Justice and I pray one day that will happen.

If you haven’t seen the first press conference. It’s a good place to start. Keep your eyes on the mayor. I think Doug Carters hands are tied as there are several people involved.

I personally think they should release more info on the murders. what were these signatures left at the crime scene? if they were as unusual as been alluded to, let it be public. it could lead to the tip needed to solve the case

I feel that they’ve done such a horrible job on this investigation that only a confession from the killer will lead to an arrest. Not allowing the hound dogs to come, calling off the search at midnight, allowing the public to search, the wrong sketch…. I can go on but I’m sure everyone is as frustrated as I am and gets it!

Is Doug Carter now saying that he believes that BG will be arrested before he retires in 2 years and 11 months time? What does he base it upon?

I'm sure they have been helpful w/identifying pedophiles and other creepy crawlers. To suggest, "perhaps another 3 years to solve this case" is a complete and utter disappointment.

Has anyone else noticed the photograph on the wall behind Supt. Doug Carter, is it my imagination or does the person in the photo bear a striking resemblance to an older Libby perhaps, or Kelsi even? Is that a picture of his daughter/wife perhaps, and is there’s some significance to it being shown in this news interview?

I don’t think it was the best decision for him to reference the remainder of his term in office, ie, 3 years/2 years 11 months specifically (before then adding-in other timescales) as being the maximum time in which the case will have been solved by. Perhaps he wanted to convey his dedication to solving this crime, but unfortunately for him, I think the wider public (interested in this case) already hold a “no confidence” type opinion of him and this police force. By stating that, he’s just added fuel to the speculation they’re no closer to solving this case today, than they were at the start, just over 5 years ago! I hope I’m wrong, and whatever the truth of the situation, I still believe this Supt. has the best intentions.
