If you’re loving the look of the new LEGO Avatar range and are considering picking one or two sets up, beware. You may get more than you bargained for, as these sets are potentially very addictive.
Each of the sets revealed thus far (rumours suggest more might be on the way) come with small chunks of brick-built foliage. If we look at these clips and bars on the sides of these clumps of scenery…yup, they’re modular. After a fashion.
What this means in practice is, you can click several LEGO Avatar sets together to make an even larger display scene. You might start off just wanting the helicopter from 75573 Floating Mountains: Site 26 & RDA Samson, but soon you could well find yourself purchasing the entire range.
Which means a lot more loooong legs in your minifigure collection. Whether you think that’s fantastic news or nightmare fuel…well, that’s up to you.
